Today I turned the bren into a proper MkI by painting the nozzle silver.

Plus we now have five magazines working so that's 750 bbs at the ready.

Also, got some 0.303 (inert) bullets to put in one of Del's mags (which still has workings inside) as a prop. Only problem is they don't fit! The rim at the base won't pass the opening at the rear of the mag. Are they made a bit too big on purpose or something?

strange , you sure you've got a 303 and not a later 762 mag I take it ?

.....started stripping down the body parts on the ural m72, need to bead blast it all to get the awful paint off the previous owner painted it.
still not sure what colour to go for, but swaying towards field grey. also realised how much work needs doing to it to get it running

That Bren looks f'ing ace now Barrie! Is there any chance of borrowing it for a bit in December as you're on the US side rather than Brit?

The mag... to load, push the follower down and push the rounds in backwards from the front of the mag. As long as the mag looks like to one in picture the gun then its deffo .303 and not 7.62, they're quite different.

took my stower look alike to the sprayers,seating to be recoverd.and had headlights removed from wings and replaced with two 1930's style spots.the spotlights have totally changed the look.
